I could not be more pleased with the kitchen renovation work that the A& E Construction team recently finished in my Pennington home. Your work as contractor was outstanding from our first appointment for an estimate to the preparation of the final bill. The contract you prepared was detailed and the allowances for materials you included were reasonable. You guided me to places to shop for granite, hardware and paint, and helped me think clearly about the decisions I had to make.
A kitchen renovation is always trying for a home owner, but you did a great deal to reduce the stress. You worked with me to schedule the work teams to minimize my inconvenience. Your crew always arrived on schedule, and they worked until they were finished the job. All the work was done with great attention to detail, and never was a mess left behind. You checked in frequently to be sure the project was going well. You and all your workers went the extra mile to be sure I was satisfied.
I would be more than happy for you to use me as a reference for anyone who is considering contracting with A&E Construction. I will certainly call you should I have need for additional home renovations.

Working with A&E’s Construction team to complete an energy audit and upgrade the air sealing at our townhouse was among our best home-improvement experiences. Once the agreed upon work started, we were kept informed of work progress, issues and schedules. Our electric bill for July, 2011 was nearly $80 less than for the same month last year. We used 397 fewer kWH this July. Our second story loft area now stays comfortable on a hot afternoon without lowering the thermostat, and we have noticed that the A/C comes on less frequently at the same settings we always used.
The team was terrific -- very professional and hard-working! All of the energy measurements and proposed improvements were explained simply, and our questions were answered thoroughly. Follow-up and clean-up were outstanding. Thank you A&E Construction.

I have heard many horror stories from people on their bad experiences with contractors. A&E Construction proved to be quite a refreshing change from that.
